FALL TAPES

The falling or resultant belts are those formats that derive from other transformations and are usually sold directly by Steelworks Service Centers or large dealers.

Let's take a practical example: one of these realities takes a supply order from its own customer of 50 tons of Steel with a development width of 800.00 mm, in all probability it will have to derive this width from a standard commercial format of 1000 mm, so as to have as little waste as possible. They will then proceed through a processing center to cut this coil at 800.00 mm. From this process, about 10 tons will be left over. of narrower belts 200.00 mm wide and these are defined as processing “results” or falling belts.

These results will have a depreciation caused by the fact that the width is no longer commercial standard and therefore not usable for its entire extension, limiting its use to a more restricted range of consumers.

At this point in the transformation cycle these service centers or traders to avoid slow-moving will tend to sell these stocks to other traders or Traders such as Inter-Trade Hub.
